The concept car that inspired the Laguna coupé

Renault Fluence 2004
Penned by Renault chief designer, Patrick le Quément, the Renault Fluence is an upmarket 2+2 concept coupé that can be seen as continuation of a long tradition of outstanding French coachbuilders. The Renault Fluence debut on June 4, 2004 at the Louis Vuitton Car Elegance Classic in England, and at the Mondial de l'Automobile 2004.

The Renault Fluence uses LED headlights that are directed in function with the steering wheel angle.

An ingenious aspect of the Fluence's exterior design is its V-shaped rear that gives access to the trunk by a curious unconventional way; the back slides up to the roof by an articulated piston mounted in the centre of the trunklid. The inside of the trunk is upholsted with "Margaux Red" cloth and has a volume of 396 m³.

New Renaults heading to SG

Grand Scenic
This is what Renault does best: MPVs that offers countless numbers of cubby holes for storage of odd items anywhere in the vast cabin. Rides well but so-so handling.

Kangoo
An update to a brilliant design where form follows function to create a space-efficient, rudimentary but fun and honest MPV: practical, useful and perfectly comfortable.

Clio RS
A facelift to the most brilliant of all small hot hatches. The Clio RS may look simple on the surface, but the chassis, brakes and steering combined with the precision of its gearbox is anything but.

Megane RS
This stands out from a rather bland Megane range with its exhilarating performance and handling. The sporting coupé looks is armed with a turbocharged 250hp engine.

Renault's last coupé...Avantime

The Wallpaper equivalent among coupes. As the name implies, the radical lines of the Avantime was Renault's finest hour as a manufacturer of cutting edge designed cars. The coupe/MPV did not go down well with the general car buying public: only 8,545 examples were ever built between 2001 and 2003.
