US gay men mostly getting HIV from main partners
Using
data from the National HIV Behavioral Surveillance System (NHBS)
involving gay men in five large US cities, researchers found that over
50% of HIV transmissions in US gay men are from main sexual partners
and 46% of infections were from partners who were believed to be
HIV-negative. |

California Supreme Court upholds ban on same-sex marriage

California Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday to uphold Proposition 8 but
also ruled that the the marriages of an estimated 18,000 same-sex
couples who wed in the five-month window before the ban took effect
will remain valid. |
