We're excited to announce Tribes (Beta) - a major new groupware feature on Fridae. Fridae members can start their own Tribe or join an existing one around a common cause or interest. For example, you can create a Tribe to chat with your gym buddies or work colleagues, or to keep in touch with other fans of a product or famous personality. Your Tribe might be centered around personal aspects or interests of its members, providing them with a way to connect with each other in a friendly environment (eg Bears, Twinks, Nesters, Film Buff, Toy Collectors). Each Tribe gets its own discussion board and photo galleries for members to interact with each other, and it can also have private Agenda items visible only to its members. A Tribe can be public (anyone can join), or private (an invitation is required to join). You can hide the Tribe's contents or the Tribe itself from anyone who's not a member. Log into Fridae and click on the Tribes button on the left navigation panel or www.fridae.com/tribes.
